A native Washingtonian and witness to the 65’ and 01’ quakes and the 1980 Mount St. Helen's eruption in Western WA, Peggy has a sense of connection to the Northwest and natural hazards. On staff with Emergency Management for six years, Peggy brings years of experience in working with diverse populations in organizing and education. A graduate of Seattle University in Education has created opportunities for Peggy to engage in youth work, community organizing, manufacturing training, National Park Ranger and most recently doing outreach and community education around disaster preparedness, with a focus on volcano and earthquake hazards.
