Carrie is a Petroleum Geophysicist from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She uses reflection seismology to interpret sub-surface geology to help mitigate risks in drilling oil and gas wells. She completed her Master’s at Baylor University in Texas, where she used seismic tomography to image the mantle beneath the Rio Grande Rift. She considers herself a volcano enthusiast and plans to pursue a PhD in Volcanology. Outside of geoscience, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family
