The breathtaking landscapes of Baja Peninsula, Mexico, sparked a lifelong passion for wildlife and nature conservation in Salma’s journey. At the age of 17, she embarked on volunteering with local non-profits. Salma's academic pursuits culminated in a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology in 2022. Then, she embarked on a new chapter in Wyoming, where she earned a MS in Natural Science Education at University of Wyoming/Teton Science Schools. The sum of all these previous experiences led her to explore herself and look for ways of improvement in her teaching and also helping others. Salma's overarching goals remain clear: to make meaningful contributions to wildlife conservation, environmental education, and the preservation of nature.
