Elizabeth Folkers, 2025 Educator

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Elizabeth developed a strong connection to the outdoors early on, inspired by the landscapes of Washington’s coast and Olympic National Park. After earning a degree in Natural Resources with a focus on Fish and Wildlife Conservation from Oregon State University Cascades, Elizabeth worked as a Park Ranger at Newberry National Volcanic Monument, where she guided visitors and contributed to conservation efforts. With a passion for educating and connecting people with nature, she is excited to continue her journey in outdoor education. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, backpacking, surfing, and exploring the wild spaces of the Pacific Northwest.
