Dear MSHI Community,
I’d like to take the time to thank you, most sincerely, for the support you have shown me during my tenure with the
Mount St. Helens Institute. Transitioning away from the Institute was a momentous decision for me, attended by
feelings both of excitement for the future and some sadness that I won’t be working with you and the team every
day.
I am deeply grateful for the privilege to have worked alongside amazing human beings linked together by the
common bond of passion for Mount St. Helens, outdoor recreation, and science education. It has been an honor to
work with such dedicated staff, devoted volunteers, committed partners, supportive donors, and enthusiastic
program participants – all of whom play a vital role in advancing understanding and stewardship of this awe-
inspiring landscape. I have learned so much while working with all of you.
