Mountain Stewards
Support the mission of the Mount St. Helens Institute and the Monument by assisting climbers on the climbing route, Mt. Margaret Backcountry, supporting guided climbs and field seminars, and helping with trail surveys. Click here for more information.

International Volunteers
Visit us and come volunteer at one of the world’s most famous volcanoes! Each season, two international volunteers are accepted and invited to volunteer for a minimum of 2 months (full-time). International applicants must apply nine or more months in advance to allow enough time for processing. Uniforms, training and housing provided.
